With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis E. Hendrix of Lakin, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 29, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Milton "J. M." and Rosamond Eves (James); her husband Paul Edward Hendrix; and her brothers, Don Eves, Daryl Eves, Edgar Eves and Raymond Eves.
She is survived by: her sons, Bret (Sandy Hendrix) of Lakin, Kansas, Bryant Hendrix of Lakin, Kansas and Brad Hendrix of Lakin, Kansas; her grandchildren, Megan Neubauer of Wichita, Tyler (Kasyn Hendrix) of Dighton, McKayla Hendrix of Lakin, Molly (Collin Zoglman) of Garden Plain, Jared Hendrix (Katie Hill) of Lakin and Brady Hendrix of Lakin, Kansas; and her great grandchildren, Ameera Neubauer, Rikki Hendrix, Brody Hendrix and Everett Zoglman.
The family suggests memorials given to the United Cerebral Palsy of Kansas or to the First Presbyterian Church of Lakin, both in care of Garnand Funeral Home, PO Box 91, Lakin, Kansas 67860.
