It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Norwood of Lansing, Kansas, who passed away on August 3, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Terry. He is survived by: his daughters, Kaila Renee Stephens of Leavenworth and Kan (Karla Michelle Norwood); his brother Willie Cannady of Victoria, Texas; and his grandchildren, Mehki, Mason and Mariyah Stephens.

Due to COVID 19, the graveside committal service with military honors will be rendered at 10:30 a. m. at the funeral home, with a private family burial to follow.

Carl was not only a boss of mine he was a friend and mentor, I have so many memories one was when he would enter my office and I heard his heels coming across the floor and him saying" how are you ma"ma" then out the door he went with a smile on his face..
