It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Alvin Smith of Lansing, Kansas, who passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lee Alvin Smith to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Verl Smith and Mamie Smith; his wife Betty Rose Smith; his son-in-law Don Smith; and his brother Robert V. Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Ron Smith (Kami) of Palmer, Janet Smith of Potwin, Rhonda Smith of Lansing and Vicki Baxter of Pueblo, CO.; and his friend Anita Tingle of McLouth, KS.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to the USD #464 Education Foundation, or the Hartford United Methodist Church, 604 E 4th street Tonganoxie, KS 66086, in memory of Lee Alvin Smith.
