She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Anderson and Lucy Fern Anderson; her husband Edward J. Chapman, Jr.; her siblings, Dorothy Peterson, Mary Dell Floyd and Glen Anderson; and her close friends, Macho and Nellie.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Elaine Chapman (Joe); her stepchildren, Rebecca Sauter (John) and Edward J. Chapman III (Ann); her stepgrandsons, Edward J. Chapman IV and Jacob Chapman; and her sisters, Ruth Smoot, Carol Wiswell, Jeanette Joyce (Tom), Nancy Driller (Tim), Rebecca Smith (John) and Barbara Anderson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Davis Funeral Chapel (531 Shawnee St, Leavenworth, KS 66048). A celebration of life was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Leavenworth, KS.
