He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth and Loretta Joyce Borders (Reed); and his brother John Borders. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Borders (Moore); his children, Jeremy (Sara), Danielle (Jon), Matthew, Andrew and Joye (Dustin); his grandchildren, Faith, Secret, Dayton, Caleb, Madison, Hailey, Blake and Titan; his great grandchild Scarlett; and his siblings, Rhonda Phillpott (Dave), Kan, Kathy Krum (Keith) of Mexico Beach, Fla., Kenny Borders (Shelly), Tonganoxie Kan and Rodney Borders (Dee).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the R. L. Leintz Funeral Home (4701 10th Ave, Leavenworth, KS 66048). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Leavenworth National Cemetery (150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048).
