He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Cook and Clara Cook; his son Edward; his siblings, Viola, Wilbur, Phillip, Joe, Francis and Ralph; and his close friend George Potter (Nadine).
He is survived by: his wife Kazuko Narita; his children, Thomas (Kim), James (Cheryl), Brenda (Douglas) and Patrick (Wendy); and his grandchildren, Shannon, Heather, Nicole, Megan, Blake, Dalton, Chase and Casey. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Leavenworth National Cemetery (150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048). The military honors will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at the same location.
