He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hildebrandt and Nina Hildebrandt Sr. (Johnson); his wife Ruby Ellis Bell; his close friend Theresa Paschal; his son Larry Keith Hildebrandt; and his siblings, George Hildebrandt Jr., Mary Frances Williams and Rose Marie Cook.

He is survived by: his children, William Gary Hildebrandt III of Leavenworth, Sherry M. Hildebrandt of Kansas City, Kan and Ruby Smith (Fred) of Leavenworth; his stepdaughter Rebecca Paschal of Leavenworth; and his sisters, Georgia Mae Hester of Leavenworth, Kan, Barbara Jean Johnson of Flower Mound and Laurette Anette Potter of Denver, Colo.. He is also survived by many grandchildren, relatives and friends.
