He was predeceased by: his parents, Silbestre Torrez and Isabelle Torrez (Reece); his wife Delores M. Ortega; his son Tobias Torrez; his siblings, Phillip, Bobbie Duarte, Jane Devinney, Phyllis Aldrete, Jess and Manuel; and his grandson Kaiden Reed.
He is survived by: his brother Frank Torrez; and his children, Anthony Torrez (Francis), Jayne Torrez (Sandi Edmonds), Vanessa Reed (Travis) and Marta Hudson. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, and various nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Beckwith Mortuary (916 Main St, Larned, KS 67550-2533). A rosary will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1111 State St, Larned, KS 67550).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Anthony Torrez, in care of Beckwith Mortuary, PO Box 477, Larned, Kansas 67550 to be used according to the families wishes.
