He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Lee and Clara Bardwell Towery; his wife MaryAnn Towery; his brothers, Ron Towery and Gary Towery; and his granddaughter Courtney Thorne.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Towery (Sheyanna), Jeff Towery (Sharon), David Towery and Wendy Bagby (Brad); his siblings, Eldon Towery (Diane), Dale (Diane), Mike Towery, Terry Towery (Brenda), Bobby Towery (Cherie), Patty Walker, Virginia, Cathy Helwick and Linda Wilder-Towery (Cindy); and his brother-in-law Tim Towery (Sandy). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
