Helen M. Walker Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen M. Walker of Larned, Kansas, who passed away on June 8, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Callahan and Florence Cislak Callahan; her husband William "Bill" Martin Walker; her son Michael "Mike" Walker; and her brothers, Joe Callahan, John Callahan and Frank Callahan Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Tony Walker (Alysha Locke), JoAn Giles, Janice Eakin and Julie Peterman (Graig); and her grandchildren, Joshua Tiday (Lauren), Aaron Tiday (Jenny), Brock Eakin (Caitlyn), Shabree Boger (Cody), Lucas Giles (Jamie), Evan Giles, Allison Reece (Phil), Alex Walker (Kelci), Bryce Walker, Tyler Peterman (Brandi), Dr. Shynia Peterman, Adam Walker and Adrienne Edwards (Hunter). She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Beckwith Mortuary (916 Main St, Larned, KS 67550-2533). A rosary was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1111 State St, Larned, KS 67550).
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Pawnee County Humane Society, or Susan G. Komen Foundation, in care of Beckwith Mortuary, PO Box 477, Larned, Kansas 67550.
