He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Warren and Gloria (Dunnell) Sickles; wife: Lucille Ann Ruiz; daughters: Ashley (Joe) Garcia and Hailey (Derrick) Buess; sisters: Janet (Norman) Butler, Jill DeRose, and Jane (Chris) Smith; sisters-in-law: Theresa Wright and Rosey Weisensee; brothers-in-law: Robert (Janine) Ruiz, John (Valerie) Ruiz, and Richard Ruiz; grandchildren: Isabella Garcia, Alexandra Garcia, Leilani Garcia, and Dallas Buess; mother and father in-law: Augustine and Trinidad Ruiz; brothers: James Sickles and John Sickles; nephews: Robert Ruiz Jr., Grant Schoger, and Scott Stein; other: Reverend Jack Singer.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Beckwith Mortuary, Inc. (916 Main St, Larned, KS 67550). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel (924 Main St, Larned, KS 67550).
