She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert M. Speed and Mary Leora Copelin Speed; her husband Gerald James Basgall; her sister Joetta Flotho; and her niece Jodi Bedore.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Moore (Craig) and Tara Basgall; her siblings, Noel Speed, John Speed, Vivian Valfe, Jane Sexton and Kris Wheaton; her grandson Tyler Corcoran; her great grandchild McKenzie Hoch; and her great great grandchild Kendall.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the Beckwith Mortuary (916 Main St, Larned, KS 67550-2533). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Larned Food Bank or Pawnee Valley Community Hospital Foundation in care of Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
