It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Marlene Lewis of Larned, Kansas, born in Great Bend, Kansas, who passed away on March 18, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, W. M. Leroy (Roy) and Dorothy Rose Salmans Mead; her daughter Carla Battin (Austin); and her brother Leon Mead. She was also cherished by two step- grandchildren and seven step-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to Larned United Methodist Church or Pawnee County Humane Society both in care of Beckwith Mortuary, PO Box 477, Larned, KS. 67550.
