She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur G. Clapham and Elsie M. Musselman Clapham; her spouse Merle Dean "M. D." Grimes; and her sisters, Phyllis Eilts and Elva Base.
She is survived by: her sons, Darin Grimes and Trent Grimes (Glenda); and her sister Peggy Kelley. She is also survived by three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
