He was predeceased by: his parents, Doreen Gyles and Thomas Gyles. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Marie Sullivan; his children, Tamara Loats (Bill) and Jason Gyles; his grandchildren, Evan McEwen, Maylee Roatch-Gyles and Micah Roatch-Gyles; and his sister Darlene Miljour (Gerald).
