We announce the death of Alice L. Aman in Lawrence, Kansas, born in Emporia, Kansas, who passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 80. Alice will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Alice will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Alice’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She is survived by: her significant other Robert Aman; her children, Michael Aman and Keli Aman; her grandchildren, Katie and Emmie Groat; and her brother Paul Tucker.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home (605 State St, Emporia, KS 66801). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (102 Exchange St, Emporia, KS 66801).
A memorial has been established with the Emporia All-Veteran Memorial, with contributions sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box #175, Emporia, Kansas 66801.
