She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlois Dyke (Sherwood) and Edward Van Dyke; her husband James Buckley; her daughter Kerry McLay; her brother Edward VanDyke; and her brother-in-law Bob Doorlag.
She is survived by: her grandson Brian; her daughter Kristi Black; her stepchildren, Janine Owens (James) and Steven Buckley (Nelda); and her siblings, Darlene Doorlag and James Van Dyke (Anne). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (2415 Clinton Parkway, Lawrence, KS 66047).
