He is survived by: his sisters, Diane and Elaine; his wife Constance Marlatt Huested; his children, Arly Hedrick Allen of Lawrence, KS and Patience Allen (Frode Linna) of Oslo, Norway; and his siblings, Dede Dresser, Lenore Allen, Barbara Wasson and Gorden Rand Allen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
