She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl LeRoy and Ethel Swain Artman; her husband Eugene Milton "Gene" Scott; and her siblings, Shirley Chapman, John Artman, LeRoy Artman, Jack Artman and Jerry "J. D." Artman.

She is survived by: her son Ron Scott (Kathy); her granddaughters, Sonja Snowbarger (Jarrell) and Jennifer Ping; and her sisters, Betty Seger of Kansas City, KS, Darlene Hagen of Manhattan, KS and Sharon Henderson of Deming, N. M.. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson.
