He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hartman and Leona Hartman (Kraft); his wife Nellie Hartman; and his siblings, Warren Hartman, Leland Hartman and Lila Bonnel.
He is survived by: his sons, Craig Hartman (Leslie) and Curt Hartman (Margaret); and his grandchildren, Caleb Hartman (Leah), Joshua Hartman (Kristin), Luke Hartman (Kaitlain), Megan Rose (Ryan) and Annie Muckenthaler (Austin). He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
