With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carol Sue (Lawhorn) AuBuchon of Lawrence, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester and Elizabeth (Turpin); her husband David L. AuBuchon; her sisters, Jane Clemons (Lawhorn) and Kathryn Steele (Lawhorn); her nephew Mike Steele; and her brother-in-law Floyd Steele, Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Clark (Phil) of Paxico, KS and Amelia "Amy" Tharp (Chris) of Lawrence, KS.; her grandchildren, Captain Alex Tharp of Fort Benning, GA, Nick Stephens of Lawrence, KS and Zoya Stephens of Topeka, KS; and her close friends, Gerry Steele and Toni Wolkar.
