With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Ann Cummins of Lawrence, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 4, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wanda Avery and Charles Avery; her brother James Bennie; and her grandchildren, Ana'Lou and Hardin.
She is survived by: her husband Peter; her brothers, Bill and Charles; her children, Joshua (Ashley), Doris (Henry), Trenton (Kendra), Louise (Matt Day) and Matthew; and her grandchildren, Urijah, Salvatore, Kaitlyn, Zoe and Maly'Bou.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home (601 Indiana St, Lawrence, KS 66044). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
