He was predeceased by : his brother Mark S. Lorman. He is survived by : his husband Rick Dunn; the mother of his children Patty A. Lorman; his children, Cyndi D. Durkin (David) and Cassi D. Lorman (Kiesha); his grandchildren, Jameson D. Durkin, Kyleigh A. Durkin and Leila R. Barfield; his sister Robin E. Martinez (Jose); his niece Melissa E. Martinez; and his nephew Brandon J. Martinez. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
