It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David A. Shufelt of Lawrence, Kansas, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on May 3, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Shufelt and Eula Hall Shufelt; and his sister Helen Trahern. He is survived by: his wife Connee; his children, Jeff Shufelt (Stacey Jacobs), Rob Shufelt (Becky) and Kate Hannings (Morgan); his sisters, Mary Mahon, Barbara Buzard and Leslie McConnell; and his grandchildren, Evan, Grant, Chloe and Skyler.
