It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David G. Swartz of Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, H. I. "Pete" Swartz and Marjorie "Skeet" Swartz (Wilson). He is survived by : his children, Amy Munaco (Dana) and Ryan Swartz; his sister Nancy Sadler; and his grandchild Lennon Roth.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary (120 W 13th St, Lawrence, KS 66044). The military honors was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in David's name to the Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044. Warren-McElwain provides a full range of services including burial, cremation in our own crematory, entombment, or body donation.
