Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Donald Richard Raybern of Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 77, on December 11, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph N. Raybern and Margaret E. Raybern (Severns); his siblings, Mary Sutton (Bob), Jeanette Wilson (Lester), Margaret Richards (John), Hazel Jones (Bill), Bill Raybern and Roger Raybern; and his sister-in-law Lynette Rasmussen.
He is survived by: his wife Shari Vick; his daughters, Jennifer Raybern and Kelli Hedges (Randall); his grandchildren, Brea, Joshua and Dylan Hedges; his siblings, Martha Smith and Gary Raybern; his aunt Sally Coffman (Guy); and his siblings-in-law, Kevan Vick (Gail), Ardie Meadows, Melinda Raybern and Dixie Raybern. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Don's name to the First United Methodist Church Jubilee Cafe or Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044. Warren-McElwain provides a full range of services including burial, cremation in our own crematory, entombment, or body donation.
