He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Smith and Loretta Smith; his siblings, Laura Lewis, Dean and Dennis Smith; and his son Robert Clayton.
He is survived by: his children, Marty Smith, William Charleston, Duane Smith Jr., Brent Smith and Elizabeth Adams (Ryan); and his siblings, Darly Smith (Jerri), Donald Smith (Jane), Lisa Conover (Billy) and Sue Dickens (Mike). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Douglas County State Fishing Lake.
