Ellen Shirley Duncan Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on August 15, 2025, Ellen Shirley Duncan of Lawrence, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Skinner and Irene Skinner (Holzle); her husband John Howard Duncan; her son James Howard Duncan; and her siblings, Kenneth Skinner, Verle Skinner and Geraldine Skinner.
She is survived by: her son Douglas Alan Duncan (Dhon); her grandchildren, Korwyn Duncan (Kate Fasse), Molly Shaver (Gabriel), Katlyn Pulley (Adam) and Samuel Duncan; and her great grandchildren, Jude, Max, Harrison, Caylee and Natalie.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Ellen's name to the Lecompton Historical Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
