She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Rogers and Elizabeth Rogers (Hill); her brother Don Rogers; and her daughter Anne LaPointe Barron. She is survived by: her husband James A. Smith; her son Jon LaPointe (Patty) of Arlington; her grandson John Jordan LaPointe (Logan) of Richmond; and her sister Lois Eriksson (John) of Silver Spring. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to Visiting Nurses of Douglas County.
