He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Stanwix and Betty Edgar Stanwix; and his brother J. R. Stanwix. He is survived by: his children, Kyle Stanwix (Vicki) of Lawrence and Jennifer Hamon (Travis) of Lawrence; his brother Dale (Linda) of Lawrence; and his grandchildren, Shelby Lavelle (Ryan), Miranda Fisher (Ben), Mikayla Greenamyre (Spencer) and Hannah Stanwix.
