It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary D. Lane of Lawrence, Kansas, born in Osage City, Kansas, who passed away on June 29, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father William Lane; his son Kevin Lane; his mother Alice Black (Martin); his stepfather John Black; his siblings, Bob, Tom Lane, Maxine Criqui and Coleen Keeffe; and his in-laws, William and Hazle Hodges.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Hodges; his daughters, Michelle Henricks (Todd) and Kristi Heintzelman (Drew); his grandchildren, Victoria Govea, Alexandra Fiedler, Garrison Fiedler, Isabella Webb, Gage Heintzelman, Eve Heintzelman and Reid Heintzelman; and his sister Darlene Haskins. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
