He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Barnes and Norma Barnes; his son Rodney; and his brother Charlie. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his daughters, Jani (Tyler) and Kristal (Johnnie); his sisters, Judy and Little Mary (Roger); and his grandchildren, Jacelynn, Kamiyah, Nylaa, Bentley and Zamara.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home (601 Indiana St, Lawrence, KS 66044).
