He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Kelly and Verna E. Felkner Kelly; his siblings, Elizabeth Bartholomew, James Kelly, Joseph Robert "Bob" Kelly and William Kelly; and his grandson Bryan Kelly.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his daughters, Patti Kelly of Littleton, Colorado and Jackie Kelly of Lynnwood, Washington.; his grandchildren, Valerie Marshall (Timothy), Christopher "Kit" Kelly, Timothy Kelly, Aaron Kelly, Sarah Kelly, Hope Herrera (Robert), Rebekah Soper (Brayden), Elijah Kelly, Jonah Kelly and Nathan Kelly; his granddaughter-in-law Karoline Kuhn Kelly; and his great grandchildren, Savannah "Sam" Cook, Chloe Cook, Klementine Kelly, Hudson Kelly, Sage Kelly, Haven Herrera and Robert "Robbie" Herrera III.
