He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Swan and Margaret Swan. He is survived by: his wife Helen Mellinger Swan; his children, Robert M. Swan of Kansas City and Andrea L. Swan of Strasbourg; his grandchildren, Jenna Swan, William Swan and Jonah Swan; and his sisters, Rebecca Howe of Englewood and Carolyn Stinson of Lafayette.
