Janice M. Walthall Obituary
The passing of Janice M. Walthall of Lawrence, Kansas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 8, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Marks and Dorothy Marks (Moyer); and her husband Richard L. Walthall. She is survived by: her sons, Barry Walthall (Bobbie) of Lawrence, Kansas, Brad Walthall (Valerie) of Kansas City, Missouri and Brian Walthall (Camille Grimes) of Olathe, Kansas; her granddaughter Bridgett Walthall (Aaron Miller) of Lawrence, Kansas.; and her sisters, Susan Engroff (Jay), Judith Engroff and Teresa Mabie (Tim). She is also survived by grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Warren-Mcelwain Mortuary (120 W 13th St, Lawrence, KS 66044). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (820 Birch St, Eudora, KS 66025).
