She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin P. Hill and Faye L. McDaniel Hill; her husband Everett Hoover; and her siblings, Philip Hill, Dennis Hill and Mary Low Grower.
She is survived by: her sons, David Hoover and Bruce Hoover of Lawrence; and her grandsons, Jeremiah Hoover, Neil Hoover and Sean Hoover.
The family suggests memorials to the Visiting Nurses and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
