It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Jervis of Lawrence, Kansas, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 26, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita L. Clarke and John P Jervis Sr.; and his brothers, Alan C Jervis and Paul J Jervis. He is survived by: his siblings, Mark M Jervis and Ramona A Manes; his niece Susan R Jervis; and his son David Shelton.

“I’ll miss our long walks and deep talks. At work I’d sneak him lemon squares and a small coffee which he rarely drank but served as proof of purchase once the square was enjoyed. He was an old soul with a young spirit. My deepest condolences to all who recognized the gift of his presence.”
