He was predeceased by: his former wife Ruth Moon; and his father John F. Moon. He is survived by: his wife Sonia Moon of Lawrence, KS; his children, Sarah (Rick Powers) and John (Megan Moon); his stepsons, Lalo (Lacey Cazares), Jorge (Aimee Cazares), Sergio Cazares and Emmanuel (McKenzie Cazares); his mother Marilyn Moon; and his sister Nancy (Rick Killmer). He is also survived by nine beautiful grandchildren.
