He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ballenger and Ruth Ballenger (Crowell); his wife Janice Ballenger; and his siblings, Colleen Weilert and Lynn Ballenger.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Ballenger (Carla) of Lawrence, KS and Lisa Pelley of Aurora, CO; his grandsons, Tyler Pelley (Jordyn) of Parker, CO, Austin Pelley of Aurora, CO and Connor Ballenger (Mallory) of Hillsboro, OR; and his great grandchildren, Brody and Makynzie Pelley.
