She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Barajas and Magdalene Barajas (Gutierrez); her daughter Doris Gauna; her grandson Michael Jaimez; and her great grandchild Alex Alvarez.
She is survived by: her children, Albert Gauna, Ricardo Allen (Angie) and Alice Galindo (Julio); her stepchildren, Pam, Mike and Terri Hadl; and her granddaughters, Selena Jaimez of Topeka, Melissa Thoms (Brett) of Topeka and Juanita Guzman (Jose) of Topeka.
Memorial contributions may be made in Juana's name to St. John's Catholic Church and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
