She was predeceased by: her parents, George Allen Abel and Mary Virginia Abel (Channel). She is survived by: her daughter Molly Abel; and her brother David Abel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many more great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home (601 Indiana St, Lawrence, KS 66044). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
