She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Raymond G. June and Vivian June (Rothrock); her husband Kenneth Schwarz; her son Ron Ferguson; her grandson Ryan Walker; her daughter Colleen Walker (Ted) of Lawrence, KS; her sisters, Sherrel Crenshaw of Ottawa, KS and Kathy Decker of Columbus, GA; and her grandchildren, Sarah Walker, TJ Walker, Brittany Welch, Andrew Welch and Hannah Foiles. She was also cherished by five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Catholic Church (1234 Kentucky St, Lawrence, KS 66044).
Memorial contributions may be made to Ryan Walker Scholarship and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
