With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larrie Scott (Lawrence, Kansas), born in Marionville, Missouri, who passed away on March 18, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Edward Scott and Clara "Louise" Schiermeyer Scott; his son Eric Edward Scott; and his brothers, Bill Edward Scott and Phillip "Kent" Scott.

He is survived by : his wife Brilla Highfill Scott; his daughter-in-law Diane Cole Scott (Lawrence); his grandchildren, Faryle Scott Barthuly (Jared), Colter Scott, Calihan Scott Norris (Caylor) and Brogan Scott (Lawrence); his great grandchildren, Reese Ramiro Rosales, Porter Jolee Norris and Sutton Wayne Norris; and his sister Carra Scott Gillespie. He is also survived by niece and nephews.

IIn lieu of flowers, memorials can be donated to the Lawrence Schools Foundation, 110 McDonald Dr, Lawrence, Ks 66044 or may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044. Warren-McElwain provides a full range of services including burial, cremation in our own crematory, entombment, or body donation.
