Laurence Day Obituary
The passing of Laurence Day (Lawrence, Kansas), born in Preston, Idaho leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 3, 2025 at the age of 90. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Laurence may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Margaret "Chris" Christensen; his grandchildren, Allison and Evan; and his children-in-law, Chris Magerl and Jennifer Day (Rees).
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home (601 Indiana St, Lawrence, KS 66044).
