He was predeceased by: his parents, Newt Bateson and Cyrena Bateson (Cook); his grandson Ryan; his siblings, Irvin Bateson, Alberta Selichnow and Geneva Alexander; and his son-in-law John Laudick.
He is survived by: his children, Dana Laudick and Eddie Bateson (Patti); his grandchildren, Nic, Sharae and Kelsey; and his great grandchildren, Kaden, Connor, Haven, Kohen, Kaia, Scarlett, Bristal and Braxton.
