She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Abel and Sarah Neis Abel; her husband Earl Felix Shutt; her son Thomas Michael Shutt; her great grandchildren, Cainan Thomas Shutt and Della Delaine Shutt; and her siblings, Minnie Fesmire, Annetta Wright, Elva Ruth Kindred, George Abel, Carl Abel and Violet Abel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Coleman (Randy) of Eudora and Cindy Shutt-Brown of Lawrence; her daughter-in-law Cherryl Shutt; her grandchildren, Holly Trunk, Tommy Shutt (Jody), Mark Shutt (Heather), Sarah Shutt, Lorena Morse (Spencer) and Kyle Shutt (Amanda); and her sister-in-law Mary Abel. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Marion's memory to Eudora United Methodist Church or Lawrence-Douglas County Hospice and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
