She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Eugene "Willie" and Beverly Joeen Wilson (Leroy) of Girard, Kansas.; and her husband George Michael Burns. She is survived by: her children, Adam Burns (Brandy) of Eudora, Kansas and Heidi Burns (Lauren) of Lawrence, Kansas; her granddaughters, Ansley Burns and Lennon Burns of Eudora, Kansas; her brother Scott Wilson (Beth) of Girard, Kansas; her niece Maria Walczak (Chris) of Portland, Oregon; her nephews, Eric Wilson (Molly) of Jacksonville and Seth Wilson of Girard, Kansas; and her great-nephew Bruce Walczak of Portland, Oregon.. She is also survived by her family, she loved attending her grandchildren's and nephew.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Christian Church (119 N Summit St, Girard, KS 66743). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Hosey Hill Cemetery (1259 KS-103, Weir, KS 66781).
