The passing of Mary A. Willems (Lawrence, Kansas) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 8, 2025 at the age of 75. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Freeman and Marian Freeman; her brother Glen Freeman Jr.; her in-laws, Nick and Ineke Willems; and her grandson Austin Hoffman.
She is survived by: her husband Hank Willems; her son Jason (Nancy Willems); her grandchildren, Reed, Erickson and Crew; her daughter Amanda (Dustin Hoffman); her grandchildren, Ramie Jo and Christian; and her brothers, Jim Freeman and Richard Freeman.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rev City Church (700 Wakarusa Dr, Lawrence, KS 66049). Please RSVP to willemsh@aol. com.
