She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Gray and Fayemont Gray (Whitacre); her husband James W. Freeman, Sr.; and her children, Debra McDaniel, Polly Hildenbrand, Robert Freeman and Jimmy Freeman.
She is survived by: her children, Jody Brown, Terri McDaniel and Avery Hedgecock. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
