He was predeceased by: his father Warren A Wahweotten Sr.; his sister Tammy Wahweotten; and his nephew Timothy Wahweotten. He is survived by: his mother Wynona Harrison Wahweotten; and his brother Warren Wahweotten Jr. (Gina) of Mayetta. He is also survived by Several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

“I have so many stories about Mike, not enough space to share them all. Many road trips, & sometimes relying on his sense of direction meant we ended up coasting into the nearest gas station on fumes, lol. Countless music shows & random sidewalk conversations. Many trivia nights at Frank's North Star, where our team's combined knowledge always got us 1st or 2nd place...we won a book & some pins here & there, but the memories are priceless. My only regret is we never remembered to take pictures :(”
